The Marriage Math Problem No One Wants to Solve

Let’s cut through the fog.

There’s a simple reason millions of women are single, frustrated, and confused... and it’s not because they’re too picky or because “men are intimidated by strong women.”

It’s math.

Hard, cold, inconvenient math.

There aren’t enough good men to go around. And we’re not allowed to say that out loud in church... or in society. But I will.

Start with the ratios. In many countries, the numbers are already skewed. Fewer men than women. But even if they weren’t, you can’t just look at quantity. You have to look at quality. Because not every man is marriage material.

Some are addicted. Some are checked out. Some are criminals. Some are feminized. Some are gay. Some are married. Some are broke. Some are spineless. And a whole lot simply don’t want the weight of responsibility that marriage brings.

So when a woman says, “Where are all the good men?”... she’s not crazy. She’s just living in a culture that broke the design, then gaslit her into thinking “he's out there somewhere” while actively disqualifying the only men who could truly cover her.

And to make it worse, the few high-value men who are left? The ones who love God, are on mission, and have the ability to lead? We tell them they can only marry one.

Think about that.

We chain up the most capable men with a man-made rule, then act surprised when the rest of the women get left with nothing but hookup culture, beta orbiters, or singleness.

If your first objection is, “But wouldn’t polygyny leave even more men without wives?” I’ve addressed that in detail in my article, “Does Polygamy Leave Men Without Wives? What the Data Actually Shows.” Counterintuitive as it may sound, allowing exceptional men to take more than one wife can actually increase the total number of men who marry by encouraging high-value men to commit sooner and by shifting the culture away from endless casual dating and toward family formation.

This is what happens when you replace God’s design with romantic idealism.

If women are created to be helpmates, they need a man to help. If the head of every woman is man, but she doesn’t have one... guess what? She’s uncovered. Exposed. Vulnerable. Out of order.

And yes, God is her covering in one sense... but don’t forget, He set up structure and delegated authority for a reason. The same God who is over all also made men the head of women. That wasn’t a punishment... that was provision.

So when the church refuses to teach this... When society mocks men for leading... When the system punishes those who try to build families outside of the one-man-one-woman-only box...

We get exactly what we have now.

Chaos.

We’ve got record singleness. Record fatherlessness. And a generation of women competing for the same top-tier men, while shaming those men for not being “faithful” enough to pretend monogamy works.

And before someone twists this... no, I’m not talking about men cheating. I’m talking about honest, biblical, responsible men stepping up and building multiple households the way God allowed, and in some cases, blessed.

It’s not for everyone. But it needs to be on the table.

Because this idea that all women will get a godly man if they just wait long enough? It’s cruel. It’s not true. And deep down, they know it. That’s why they’re stressed. That’s why they’re lonely. That’s why many of them are turning to therapy, crystals, or OnlyFans... anything to fill the void.

Meanwhile, the men who could lead them… are being told that doing so would be selfish. Sinful. Even though it’s what the Bible actually allows. Even though it could help fix the imbalance.

We’re told we’re misogynists for wanting to cover more than one woman... when really, we’re the only ones who even care enough to try.

So no, polygyny isn’t the problem. It’s a solution the modern world doesn’t deserve… but desperately needs.

Not for the weak. Not for the carnal. But for the few men who fear God, know who they are, and refuse to sit on the sidelines while women drown in a system that was rigged from the start.
