They’ll Call You Crazy — Wear It Like a Badge

If you’ve ever found yourself labeled “crazy” for asking hard questions, you’re in good company. History is packed with people who were mocked, shunned, and ridiculed — not because they were wrong, but because they rattled cages that needed rattling.

Open your Bible and you’ll see it’s nothing new. The prophets? Mocked. Jesus? Demonized. The apostles? Branded heretics. What did they all have in common? They refused to parrot comfortable lies. They spoke what was true, no matter how it clashed with popular expectations.

Fast forward to today and the labels haven’t changed much, they’ve just gotten trendier. “Heretic.” “Deceived.” “Conspiracy nut.” Modern-day scoffers love to slap a sticker on anything that makes them uncomfortable enough to actually question their assumptions.

But here’s the good news, truth doesn’t bow to insults. The only people who grow are the ones humble enough to test every claim against the Word, like the Bereans did. The rest? They stay stuck in the safe echo chambers they’ve built for themselves.

This isn’t about chasing controversy for its own sake. It’s about courage. About discernment. About having enough oil in your lamp to see through the slick deception this age loves to package as “sound doctrine.”

If you’re serious about not being caught off guard when reality and expectations collide, now’s the time to lean in, not tune out. Now’s the time to trade borrowed convictions for your own. To search the Scriptures for yourself. To stand apart if you have to.

Because the truth is rarely comfortable — but it’s always worth it.

📌 Ask the hard questions. Search the Word like your life depends on it — because one day, it will.
